Beginning in 2004 Arkell Hall Foundation partnered with the Canajoharie Library and Art Gallery to create the new Arkell Museum at Canajoharie. The museum’s seven galleries feature great American artworks from our country’s most influential painters including Winslow Homer and many others, as well as a fascinating look at the region’s industrial and cultural past. Located in Canajoharie’s quaint downtown, only steps from the village’s Mohawk River waterfront park, the Arkell Museum is an enjoyable, easy-to-reach destination.
